Rippa Rugby Tournament

On Tuesday 5 June we went to a rippa rugby tournament at Sports Park in Motueka. It is a sport we play with tags and a rippa belt.  It is like rugby but instead of tackling you rip the tags off the other persons belt.  Once you make a rip they have to pass the ball. You get 6 rips before it is a hand over.
We took 2 teams to the tournament.  A competitive and a have-a-go team. The competitive team played 5 games and we made it to the semifinals.  We came 3rd out of the whole Tasman district. The have-a-go team played in a round robin competition and had lots of fun.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day at the rippa rugby tournament.  We were all very tired and pleased we did so well.
