Last term we hosted the Kiyosato High School students. Maihi and the kapa haka group preformed for our visitors. We think they really enjoyed seeing some of the Maori culture. I translated Eli’s mihi and I played mutorere a game that you have 8 stones and you try to block another players stones. I translated most of the Kiyosato students playing mutorere. I was stationed with Leo Hammon and we created something called the loop in the game. The loop was very annoying and it kept happening. At least you didn’t lose.
After that the kiyosato students left.
