Weet-bix TRYathlon

On Sunday 12th March  I competed in the Weet-bix TRYathlon in Nelson NZ.
It's a fun day for everyone 7-15 years of age. You have to wake up pretty early to get there but that's ok. This year was different due to the weather, the biking course was altered to one lap instead of 2 laps so that was annoying, but it was fine.  There were a bunch of freebies to be won and a lot of competitors so it was a good challenge.  The swimming was 100 metres, the bike was 2km, the run was 1.5km and I came about 23rd which I was very happy about.  In the run I fell over into a very muddy puddle which gave me a stomach ache for the rest of the triathlon.  When I finished I was very relieved and got a nice cold water shower from my water bottle.  All participants received a medal for their efforts.
